Here Skullflower is in band mode, with MB on guitar/vocals, Samantha Davies on strings, Lee Stokoe (Culver) on guitar, and returning member Stuart Dennison on drums/vocals. Inside the whirlwind of noise, there is a sense of melody here, with track 2 "Ghostbitch of Blackflame" sharing - as far as my ears are concerned - a similar guitar theme with "Annihilating Angel" from Orange Canyon Mind. 2009 cd on Second Layer Records.
